Introduction
Gulangyu is a peaceful and beautiful island that has become a veritable tourist card of Xiamen by virtue of its unique scenery. There are attractions on the island such as Sunlight Rock, Beans Village Garden, Organ Museum, etc. Inside the Sunlight Rock, you can look down on the whole island and take in the scenery as far as you can see.

In addition, Gulangyu Island also has the Minnan architectural style of Haitiantian structure, the Zhongwan Hapu building and the 19th century European style of the State Consulate, because of these many styles of buildings, so it is also known as the Expo of Universal Architecture.

Gulangyu Island has a lot of petty stores, decorated in a literary style, very suitable for taking pictures.

Opening Hours
All year round Open all day. (1) Daytime route: Inbound flights operate from 8:10 to 17:30, with departures at every 10 minutes and 30 minutes per hour; outbound flights operate from 7:40 to 17:40, with departures at every full hour and 40 minutes. (2) Night route: the operating time of island departure flights from Sanqutian Pier is 18:00-24:00. During 00:00-5:00, if tourists want to leave the island, please return from Piano Pier to Ferry Terminal (whole time departure); during 5:30-7:00, please return from Sanqutian Pier to Ferry Terminal (no change in the flights, please refer to the official website of the Ferry Company for details). (3) If additional routes or adjustments are made to the ferry service, the notice on the ferry company’s official website shall prevail.
Preferential treatment policy
Minors: Minors aged 6 (not included) to 18 (included) (with ID card or household registration book), half price
Senior Citizens: Half price for those aged 60 (inclusive) to 64 (inclusive) or below with valid ID; Free of charge for those aged 65 (inclusive) or above with valid ID.
Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and other young people entering the country: with the “Hong Kong and Macao Residents Entry and Exit Permit to the Mainland”, “Taiwan Residents Entry and Exit Permit to the Mainland”, half-price.
Full-time undergraduate and undergraduate degree students: with a valid ID such as a student card, half price
Persons with disabilities: Free of charge for holders of Disabled Person’s Certificate and Disabled Soldier’s Certificate.
Military personnel, fire rescue team, public security: free of charge with a valid ID.
Children: under 6 years old (including 6 years old) or under 1.2 meters (including 1.2 meters), free of charge.
Supplementary note: The preferential treatment policy only applies to the five major attractions on Gulangyu Island: International Carving Art Museum, Sunlight Rock, Haoyue Garden, Organ Museum and Beans Village Garden.
